how to activate Archibites libraries
Archibites libraries are locked to either your Graphisoft Company ID, Graphisoft User ID or Archicad Key. See here for more details.
Will Archibites tools work in future versions of Archicad
Libraries are sold with a perpetual license and can be used with any current, previous version of Archicad stated in the objects description, or any future version (unless specifically stated as subscription based purchase). Whilst unlikely, should Archicad make changes in the future that impact how our objects work there may be a small upgrade fee to cover Archibites upgrade works. Refer to our terms and conditions for more detail.
My Archicad License keys have changed
Archibites can update the license keys, please see more details here.
I have upgraded Archicad to a newer version, do Archibites libraries need to be updated
No, anyone using a cloud subcription will not need to do anything. If you did change your license type, see here. Archibites libraries will work with future versions but if Archicad has made fundamental changes to how Archicad works we may issue a update and will notify you of this. See our terms and conditions here.
My Archibites license is not working
See here for troubleshooting options.
Do you provide objects as libpacks
Our objects are provided in lcf format. These are 100% compatible working alongside libpacks from Archicad/Graphisoft or other third party libraries and will not cause corruption or issues. Libpacks are used by Archicad for localisation and are fundamentally different in coding to their previously used lcf formats hence the reason Archicad advise not using lcf and libpacks together from GRAPHISOFT libraries, this excludes any third party developers unless the developer specifically states otherwise.
Is it safe to give Archibites my Archicad ID/Key information
Graphisoft Company ID, Graphisoft User ID or Archicad Key used by Archibites to secure our objects is considered public information in that any third-party object or add-on loaded into your libraries can access this information. It is not secure information nor will it comprimise your Graphisoft license security.
